Deleting a course

You can delete any class or duplication if you're either an organization owner or have admin permissions for the class or duplication. Deleting a duplicationed class does not delete the upstream class.

Only members with owner privileges for an organization or admin privileges for a class can delete an organization class. If Allow members to delete or transfer courses for this organization has been disabled, only organization owners can delete organization courses. For more information, see "Class permission levels for an organization."

Warning: Deleting a course will permanently delete release attachments and class permissions. This action cannot be undone.

Please also keep in mind that:

  • Deleting a private class will delete all of its duplications.
  • Deleting a public class will not delete its duplications.
  1. On Classgalaxy, navigate to the main page of the class.
  2. Under your class name, click Settings.
  3. Under Danger Zone, click Delete this class.
  4. Read the warnings.
  5. To verify that you're deleting the correct class, type the name of the class you want to delete.
  6. Click I understand the consequences, delete this class.
